Heritage Series: Fabrics Used

One of my favorite things about working on the Heritage Series pattern was choosing fabrics for the collection. I wanted them to have a cohesive feel, but also feel like they'd been around. I opted for more muted colors, with pops of red and black to give it a more rich depth. I mostly kept to small prints or solids, and modeled it all after Lore Pemberton's artwork.

I have been an admirer of Lore's for a long time. I've recently hung three of her paintings in a corner of my living room and it's turned into one of my favorite nooks in our home. My biggest worry is not knowing when to stop purchasing her lovely work! You should really check hers out! Shop her paintings here.

She and I collaborated recently with a piece of hers that included my Heritage Series in her painting. It is so beautiful and sentimental. It's definitely going to find a place in my sewing room!

Ok, here is the breakdown for all the fabrics I used. They are all Art Gallery Fabrics. I'm hoping to periodically restock my shop with these, but in case I don't have them on hand and you're looking for the names, here you go!
