Sweet Home QAL-Finale

This is it! The final week of the Sweet Home Quilt Along! I have had such a wonderful time sewing along with Sharon Holland, Maureen Cracknell, and *you*! You guys have made some really gorgeous quilts and I think it's safe to say we're all hooked on Sharon's pattern! 

Week 6: Final Reveal

Let's take a small walk down memory lane. We started with fabric selection. I had already made a version of the Sweet Home quilt over the summer, and this time I knew I wanted a more wintry one. Just in time for Maureen's new Cozy and Joyful line to come out! 

Then we planned and cut and began making our little houses...

We added sashing and sewed it all together. 

And a few weeks ago, I sent my top off to Brooke of Lady Belle Fabrics to work some longarm love onto my quilt. It turned out so so so lovely!!!

I mean this is a seriously adorable quilt. And now knowing Brooke, Sharon, and Maureen a bit better, and getting to make it with all of *you* it feels like I made it with friends! Like a small town quilting might be. And that just means so much right now.

My family and I will cherish this quilt for many, many years. Thank you so much for being part of making that special.
