Sweet Home QAL: Week 3

It's week three of the Sweet Home Quilt Along! How has that happened?! That means we're nearly halfway done and after this week you'll have all your little houses complete! I hope you are loving your quilt as much as I'm loving seeing all of your quilts! Look at some of these beauties I grabbed from the hashtag! (#sweethomeqal)

Week 3: Bungalow Block

For this week, we're switching from the Log Cabin style houses to the Bungalow, my favorite!! I love bungalows. They just seems so tucked in and cozy and delightful for a rainy day with a book and a cup of tea. :) These are my favorite blocks of the quilt, and I usually save my very favorite fabrics for them. 

These come together *so* quickly and you'll really start to see the quilt come together! I usually can't wait to at least lay these out with my log cabin blocks and lay my sashing between so I can envision where it's headed. 

Maureen is making FOUR Sweet Home quilts, and her Bungalows are so darling! 

See how different these can look with just a *little* difference in fabric placement? She's making this version using her Cozy and Joyful line as well, but I'm so excited to see how the same fabrics on the same quilt give a totally different look! 

And Sharon is making a lovely version using Art Gallery Fabric's new Terra Kotta line. Her Bungalows are darling too!

So so sweet!! I love how all of these versions are turning out!!
