Sweet Home QAL: Week 4

Hello Sweet Home makers! Can you believe it's already week 4?! This quilt along is nearly complete and the houses I'm seeing pop up on Instagram are so darling! 

If you're just now joining in, it's not too late to grab your Sweet Home pattern from Sharon Holland and join in the fun! I promise these houses are too addictive to slow down with and you'll be caught up in no time! ;) 

Week 4: Corner Squares and Sashing

This week is all about those final details that will get your quilt ready to assemble! These little corner squares along with the sashing really do the job of setting off those houses so they have a little room to shine. 

If you haven't tried chain piecing yet, I really suggest it for this one. It will go so much more quickly for you! 

Once you get your corner squares ready, you can start sewing them to the sashing (note: there are two different sized sashing pieces! Make sure you keep those straight!). 

You'll go ahead this week and assemble your top, so layout your houses where you want them, and get that top ready! 

I am *loving* how my Starry Night is turning out. That dark navy with the gold looks even better than I'd hoped!!
